How much does it cost?

It is free to join DC POS. DC POS charges 0.5% on transactions. Your online wallet provider may charge you to receive funds. Wallet providers typically charge 0.5 to 2 percent when remitting bitcoin to your local currency. You should check with your wallet provider.

How do I join?

How do I set up my users and nominate my online wallet?

All of the Administration features are at dcpos.com/account (NOTE: you can only log in to the account page with your Administrator password. Cashiers cannot log in to the account page, only Administrators.

How do I make a sale?

Log in to your terminal at dcpos.com/terminal using the CASHIER logon you set up on your account page. Administrators cannot log on to the terminal, only cashiers.

How do I know a transaction is approved?

A thank you message and a green tick will appear, and the transaction tab on the left hand side of the screen will turn from red to green. This can take as little as three seconds (usually) but may take up to ten minutes (rarely).

What does it mean when the transaction tab turns black?

DC POS queries the wallet address to which the funds were sent for a limited time, to avoid generating unnecessary network traffic. If the transaction tab turns black, DC POS has stopped checking the address. If you click on the tab when it is black, a “check payment” button will appear on the right hand side of the page. Click the check payment button and DC POS will recommence checking.

When can I be sure the bitcoin payment has been received?

The payment has been received when the green circle and tick message appears.

How can I troubleshoot a payment that has not been received?

How long does it take for the bitcoin to be in my web wallet after a transaction is complete?

Your bitcoin should be in your web walled instantly. If you are using a payment processing service that converts your bitcoin to your local currency, please consult the provider to understand their service.

What is the password policy for DC POS?

Passwords for Administrator users must be at least eight characters long, with at least one number and one symbol. Cashier user passwords must be at least six characters long.
